At Infinics, we strive to provide our clients with the highest quality services and products. As part of our ongoing commitment to excellence, we are pleased to announce a significant update to our cyber insurance offering that will bring enhanced benefits to our valued customers and partners.

What's Happening?

We are transitioning our cyber insurance provider from Beazley to AIG, effective for all Cyber Essentials certifications issued after 12th August 2024. This change will bring a range of new benefits and improved support for our clients. Rest assured, existing policies will remain unchanged and valid for 12 months from the date of certification.

Tomorrow (11th July), our existing policyholders will receive an email notification from our partner Superscript, informing them that their current cyber insurance policy will not be automatically renewed at the end of its term. This is a requirement under the Beazley contract and does not affect the benefits of any active policies.

For customers who have opted for the increased £100k limit included in their bundle, you can continue to do so throughout the duration of your Cyber Essentials certification validity. Here are the specifics:

  1. All certifications issued on or before 11th August will be with Beazley for both £25k and £100k policies.
  2. Any new certifications issued after 12th August will be with AIG for both £25k and £100k policies.

Re-certifications after 12th August 2024 will be issued by AIG and administered via Sutcliffe & Co. Insurance Brokers (regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, Number 306068).

Why Are We Changing Providers?

Our switch to AIG is designed to give our customers more comprehensive support and coverage. AIG's policy offers expert help with cyber incidents and covers financial losses up to the policy limit.

Additional Benefits:

  1. Incident Response: First response with a 24-hour helpline.
  2. Extortion Threat Coverage: Up to the full limit of liability.
  3. Reputational and Brand Protection.

Who is AIG?

American International Group (AIG) is a global insurance giant operating in 190 countries and jurisdictions. Their cyber insurance policies offer extensive coverage for both physical and non-physical losses resulting from cyber events, protecting over 30,000 insured worldwide.

When Is This Happening?

The transition to AIG will apply to all Cyber Essentials certifications issued after 12th August 2024. Existing policies will remain unchanged.

We will follow up with a detailed email outlining the full policy details and benefits on 12th August when the new policies take effect.
